I'm was farming Thick Leather in Badlands when out of the blue a Robes of Insight dropped from a Nyxondra's Broodling.

For those who don't know the Robes of Insight are one of the most coveted transmog items of all time.  Head past the jump for more.

So this screenshot showing polearms and staves being able to be used (and likely transmogged for each other) with Titan's Grip showed up on /r/wow.

After a bit more digging it seems WoW Insider was able to get Ghostcrawler to cough up that polearms were "on the list for patch 5.4".

Looks like warriors are in for a whole new world of transmog options. I might have to start looking for beastly looking staves and polearms to stock up and sell if/when this goes live.

Can you say dual Telaari Polearms? Or maybe a nice pair of Frostscythes of Lord Ahune!!

Each player has their own special ways of making gold in World of Warcraft. No two players are the same. No two servers are the same. This means that each of us walks our unique own gold-making path.

Since Mists of Pandaria is coming out in 5 days we thought it would be good to take some time to reflect back over our own gold-making journey through Cataclysm and pick out the top 5 most enjoyable techniques we used to make gold in World of Warcraft.

I've had a sneaking suspicion lately that with all the illicit BOE mount duping that's likely been going on on the servers lately (you've all heard the level 1's in trade chat trying to sell Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger for 15k) that it would only be a matter of time before the dupers moved onto other high-value items as targets for their market-ruining duping (duplicating items by illicit means such as hacks, bugs. etc.).

It's not often that something completely takes me by surprise but learning about this particular mogging item from one of my livestream viewers certainly did. I present to you the Brunnhildar Harpoon. This is a common (white) quality polearm sold by an NPC that can be used for transmogrification. Not only is this item freaking huge, it has a built-in glow that covers up enchants and can be sold on the auction house. Read on for more details on this hidden mogging gem.

I finally reached "gold-cap" of 1 million gold yesterday (Friday the 13th of April, 2012) on the morning livestream! (To see the moment I actually hit gold-cap follow this twitch.tv link.) I have to say that, while I am feeling mixed emotions, the feeling I'm feeling most is happiness. As I have been struggling to sell mogging items on my server, all the while watching other prominent gold-makers raking in (what seems to be) tons of gold selling mogging items, a theory started to slowly develop in the back of my mind.

So I am officially on my last day of my "One Month, One Toon" Challenge. In just over 12 hours I will be able to finally start playing my other characters! If you've been watching my livestreams (twitch.tv/jimyounkin) over the last month you know that there have been times where I've chaffed under the Challenge's restrictions of only playing one character for an entire month.

After the jump I talk a bit about what I've learned from the challenge, some unexpected side-effects. What I hated most. What I loved most. What I did (and didn't) get accomplished and more this last month.

With Blizzard announcing a new Scroll of Resurrection (SoR) promotion that gives people (nearly) free and instant level 80s there should be a small window of opportunity for us to sell these new level 80s level 77-80 Cataclysm greens. The default gear for the new level 80s is iLevel 232. Cataclysm greens start at iLevel 272 which is a big upgrade.

If the are being played by players like myself the first thing they are going to do is hit the AH and look for Cataclysm greens to replace much of their pre-made gear. Read on past the jump for a few quick tools to help in your search.
