This is a very brief overview of the UI for the new "Wardrobe" feature in the World of Warcraft Legion Alpha. The interface is very similar to the addon MogIt but the fact that it will be account-wides has far reaching implications in the transmog market. Time will tell whether it helps or hurts the market. People may only have to buy an item once now but they also may be willing to spend gold knowing that it will work across all there characters.
(Note: In the video at places you can hear my voice twice. Due to a glitch I had to re-record this video from a window on my desktop and forgot it would record the audio from my mic also. I'm singing a lullaby to my daughter from Oh Brother Where Art Thou. lol)

Macros For Quickly Buying 5-Stack Vendor Items In WoD Beta
If you're like me and buying lots of items from your Garrison Trading Post vendor you might have noticed it is very annoying to have to click each and confirm buying each 5 stack or ore (for example).
I decided to use good old /framestack (or /fstack) command to see if I could build a macro that would click all those buttons for me…and it worked! Head past the jump for the macros and how I made them.

Details On All Twenty Garrison Buildings In The Warlords Beta
The new Level 100 build of the Warlords of Draenor Beta is all about Garrisons with Blizzard giving you all sorts of tricks and shortcuts that allow beta testers to build all sorts of Garrison goodness.
I was very interested in all the different Garrison buildings along with all the different levels of those buildings and what benefits they offer. Read on past the jump for details on all twenty building you can build in the current beta.

New Garrison & Profession Information Via BlizzPro

Profession Training Scrolls In Warlords of Draenor Beta
While killing Shadowmoon Voidmancers in (the surprisingly lush) Shadowmoon Valley in the Warlords of Draenor Beta I received three profession learning scrolls within a few drops of each other.
These particular scrolls (A Guide to Skinning in Draenor, A Compendium of the Herbs of Draenor, and A Treatise on Mining in Draenor) taught players how to skin, mine and gather herbs in Draenor.
Funny enough I was able to mine without reading this scroll but I didn't gain any skill over 600.
Reading the scroll I received a profession skill called [Mining] that allowed me to "mine ores in the old lands of Draenor" and gives a "potential mining skill of 700".
It would then seem these scrolls may replace learning a new mining skill from a trainer. I didn't however seem to learn new smelting techniques so that might still be coming. I checked with my Mining trainer and he didn't have anything new for me.
While this might seem like a small thing but I was just happy to find something new in the Beta related to professions.

While we know Warlords of Draenor is still in beta we thought the Garrison mission UI was not really that intuitive. We made a few short videos showing how to start as well as turn in Garrison missions.
We also wanted to show off the cool little "mini-animation" that plays when you turn in that shows your follower doing the heroic deed you asked them to do. It's a nice little touch that makes the followers feel a bit more real.

Warlords of Draenor Garrisons - In Pictures
We've been going through the initial Garrison quests in the Warlords of Draenor Beta and taking pictures. Lots of pictures.
Today we thought we'd give a bit of a sneak peek into the starting Garrison experience in picture form. While we won't write about Garrisons today we can say that we are liking the experience so far.
I'd bet Garrisons are Blizzard's bid to keep people coming back in Warlords of Dreanor and from what I've seen so far the Garrison system is fairly complex and could be very entertaining. Time will tell.

Warlords of Draenor: New Bits and Pieces
I spent some more time in the Warlords of Draenor Beta this weekend (video to come soon) and tried to pay special attention to how the UI has changed as well as any other changes that might interest us as gold-makers.
While many of these features have been known since Blizzcon, it was great to see them in person.

Warlords of Draenor: No Prof Benefits, Easy-Mode Mining & Herbing
"Professions
Some of our goals with Professions in Warlords of Draenor are to make them more of a personal choice, and less of a mandatory “min/max” selection. To that end, we're removing the direct combat benefits of Professions. Additionally, we've made it easier to level Mining and Herbalism. Healing Potions have gone mostly unused lately, compared to combat stat potions. We chose to solve that problem, along with a problem with Warlock utility, by having Healing Potions and Healthstones share cooldowns.
Herbalists can now harvest herbs throughout the game world without hard skill requirements. The yield an Herbalist will be able to harvest from each node is now determined by skill level.
Miners can now harvest mineral nodes in outdoor areas of the game world without hard skill requirements. The yield a Miner will be able to harvest from each node is now determined by skill level.
Healing Potions no longer share a cooldown with other potions, but instead share a 60-second cooldown with Healthstones. The cooldown will not reset until the player leaves combat."
The gathering changes seem like a continuation of the gathering changes introduced in Mists of Pandaria that allowed you level gathering completely inside of Pandaria.
This should make leveling a gathering professions while leveling your character much easier. I'm sure we've all had the experience of out-leveling the level of mining and herbalism while leveling and having to either go back and waste time catching up or stop leveling gathering until after you've hit max level.
Since I don't raid or PVP the removal of the stat bonuses won't really affect me although I'm sure some players will enjoy not having to take a professions they don't want to simply because it has the best stat bonus.

Warlords Of Draenor: Blizzard Thinks Glyphs Are Too Expensive
"Automatically Learned Glyphs
While leveling, characters unlock Glyph slots at several specific levels. However, in order to get glyphs, characters need to visit an Auction House (and potentially pay way more gold than an average character of that level has yet), or know a Scribe from which to request them. To solve this, we've made characters learn some Glyphs automatically as they level.
All classes now learn some of their Major Glyphs as they level. Recipes for these Glyphs have been removed.
At level 25, the following Glyphs are automatically learned by characters of the appropriate class:
Entangling Roots, Fae Silence, Ferocious Bite, Maul, Omens, Cat Form, Liberation, Pathfinding, Frost Nova, Blink, Fortuitous Spheres, Rapid Rolling, Afterlife, Harsh Words, Flash of Light, Alabaster Shield, Dazing Shield, Avenging Wrath, Templar's Verdict, Levitate, Holy Fire, Fade, Deadly Momentum, Stealth, Flame Shock, Thunder, Healing Storm, Healing Wave, Spiritwalker's Grace, Siphon Life, Drain Life, Demon Training, Ember Tap, Long Charge, Victory Rush, Bloodthirst, Gag Order
At level 50, the following Glyphs are automatically learned by characters of the appropriate class:
Might of Ursoc, Nature's Grasp, Rebirth, Rejuvenation, Savagery, Mending, Chimera Shot, Black Ice, Polymorph, Spinning Crane Kick, Denounce, Divine Storm, Word of Glory, Reflective Shield, Smite, Mind Blast, Recuperate, Totemic Recall, Fear, Executor
At level 60, the following Glyphs are automatically learned by characters of the appropriate class:
Dark Succor, Unholy Command, Death Grip
At level 75, the following Glyphs are automatically learned by characters of the appropriate class:
Death and Decay, Dash, Faerie Fire, Healing Touch, Master Shapeshifter, Misdirection, Slow, Frostfire Bolt, Water Elemental, Breath of Fire, Mana Tea, Fists of Fury, Light of Dawn, Final Wrath, Double Jeopardy, Penance, Renew, Dispersion, Ambush, Cheap Shot, Lightning Shield, Eternal Earth, Healthstone, Bull Rush, Enraged Speed, Shield Wall"
I'm not really leaning one way or another on these changes. It seems pretty obvious that Blizzard isn't happy with the glyph prices they are seeing on live realms.
They state that a low level player won't have enough gold to buy glyphs so they'll give them some.
By my rough count there are 86 glyphs listed above to become automatic (read free). If my calculations are correct this equals out to roughly 20% of the glyphs in the disappearing from scribes books.
As for how this effects the economy I honestly believe a large majority of players will simply use the "free" glyphs Blizzard will give them.
This will likely mean that glyph sales for all but the most desirable glyphs will dry up. If that happens glyph sellers can go one of two ways: sell even higher or sell even lower.
Which way they choose to go is likely going to be up to the glyph sellers on each realm/faction.

After tweeting that I was looking at the new TradeSkillMaster Application beta I was asked by a reader to post up some screenshots. Today I'll be giving you a brief overview of the current beta release of the new TradeSkillMaster Application.
The new application has some really neat tricks up its sleeve as well as a whole new backend that is quite exciting. This is a large departure from the previous application and puts it much more on par with services like The Undermine Journal and WoWuction. Read on for more.

My Mists of Pandaria Stockpile? Not Much.
By far the most popular question I've been asked in the last two weeks has been "What should I stockpile for Mists of Pandaria?". Each time I feel that I must disappoint the questioner when I give my answer.
It's not that I haven't given it a lot of thought it's just that I'm not really much of a stockpiler. Never have been. Likely never will be.
That said, read on past the jump for the few items I have decided to sock away and/or wait to sell in Mists of Pandaria.
