Patch 5.3 So Far (New Markets And Re-Posts)



What have I been doing since Patch 5.3 landed today? Posting a new market I'm experimenting with (85-89 Mists of Pandaria gear) and re-posting lots of Crafted Dreadful Gladiator gear of all types (Cloth, Leather, Mail and Plate).

I just get the impression that lots of people will be looking for PVP gear to try out the new PVP changes. I also think many people will have held of on leveling their alts until the 33% XP reduction for levels 85-90. Those people will be looking in the Auction House for leveling gear.


Some initial 85-89 sales. So far so good.

What have you been up to in Patch 5.3 so far?

  1. Hmmm, I like your thinking; very "mind of the consumer." So, someone new to pvp would definitely buy out a pvp set. And someone who put off leveling their alt would definitely need some 85-89 stuff. You think Living Steel and Haunting Spirit prices are going to go up with an increase in fresh 90s buying crafted gear?

    1. Funny enough I've see people selling Haunting Spirits for 3k in trade chat. Prices may drop as people try to unload before the next tier of orbs arrive. (Of course I know next-to-nothing about raiding.)

  2. new orbs? i don't think there is any with this patch.

  3. Gems are selling very well today, enchants and all the crafted pvp sets are good sellers, too.
    Im trying to sell shield enchants for the heirloom shields, as they are introduced by 5.3.
    Named +7 Stam, +10Stam +10Spirit and +Armor (i believe its 30).

    I´ll post results later :)
