If you have been living under a rock (or not following  @DEazeroth) you will have no idea what transmogrification is, nor will you have any idea how to profit off it?  Shame on you, you should.  But seriously, in Patch 4.3, there are some greens that sell for far more than even level 85 blues and purples.  Why?  They look unique.

So, how can you profit off of these high green items?  Well, the most obvious way is to look at the Auction house.  In addition to that, I also subscribe to Faid’s (Nerf Faids) opinion that Farming (if done correctly) can be a very efficient use of time and resources.

This post will briefly go over a few instances that have high value green items (you are going to want to reference it with this site as well:  Mogging Item Search And Pricing With Auctionator).  In addition, I am going to try and mention a bit about the instance, and possible other things that you can do in them. Read on past the jump.

Many of us like to farm old raid instances. The only problem is that you need to be in a raid group with another person in order to enter raid instances. for In this 5 minute video I go over how to use Blizzard's free "Starter Edition" accounts to enter the instances all by myself without help from others and without paying for a second account.

If passed, the proposed US legislation SOPA and PIPA will provide a real and serious threat of censorship of the internet. While I am not a legal expert I know enough to realize that these bills are just the first in a movement to stifle creativity, free speech and freedom of expression on the internet.

I encourage all who read this to take the time to read through the links below and educate yourself on the types of things that these bills contain and what can be done to fight against not only these bills but any future measures to curb free speech and freedom of expression.

If we fail to do this now we risk killing the openness that lies at the center of what the internet is and why it is the greatest tool for good that the world has ever known.

Don't forget today, January 18, 2012, the day the internet stood up against censorship.

Jim and April

First off, I am not dead. "The report of my death was an exaggeration," -Mark Twain. With that out of the way…

I've been pondering this for a while, but whether it's the new year (2012 is gonna be bananas!) or just that the time is right, I am officially retiring my beloved blogging pseudonym. As of this post I will no longer be going by the monikers "flux" and "fluxdada". From now on I'll be known as "Jim" or "Jim Younkin" if you're not into the whole "brevity" thing.

While I enjoyed having a pseudonym to write with at the beginning of my blogging career it is time for me to move out from behind the curtain and meet you all as my true self. Read on past the jump.

We decided to create a guild for Power Word: Gold. It is open to anyone who wants to come together to talk and chat about making gold in World of Warcraft. Also with the mobile Armory app there is often people to chat with even when you're not playing World of Warcraft.
